I chose to attend Clayton State because of the reputable nursing program that has a history of high pass rates on the registered nurse licensure exam. I also chose Clayton because, as a nontraditional student and a mother of four, I needed a flexible schedule and a college that was affordable. Here at Clayton State, I like most the faculty engagement and the diversity of the faculty population here, and their expertise and knowledge.

What I really enjoy about the nursing program at Clayton State is the hands-on experience we get. The university's got relationships with so many different hospitals, clinics, and other facilities around metro Atlanta, even beyond, that we get to do so much hands on that really helps.

Also, our dental hygiene students have a full-service clinic that prepares them to deal with real patients as they're ready to go out into the workforce.

You get better understanding when you see simulation environments where things could potentially go wrong. And how you react to them is judged by your instructors. And we get feedback, so that if we're to come across such situations in real life, we'll better know how to handle it.
