  • Dean's Distinguished Speaker Series and Jim Wood Speaker Series brings top executives from the Atlanta area to share their expertise, experiences and advice with our students.

Clayton State University offers students, both on campus and off campus, job opportunity. As for the College of Business, we constantly have a staff emailing us about internship opportunities for all business majors.

I think the Dean's Distinguished Speaker Series really benefits the students. What they do is they bring speakers from different fields to come and talk to the business students.

What a lot of students get out of it is that they take a bunch of notes, and they get to ask questions to professionals about what the business is like and how they can get involved.

The practical experience that my professors are bringing to the classroom is invaluable, because they're bringing 20, 35 years of experience into the classroom. And we're going out of the classroom and being able to apply that to our lives and to our careers.

The teachers are really great, and they empower you. And it's easier than it sounds. It's fun. It's great. You're not in high school. You're here, in college. And the food is better. People are nicer. And you should come do it.
