Hey, I'm Blake Anderson. I'm a fourth year biology student here at Clayton State University. What I like most about the biology program here at Clayton State is the involvement that the teachers have in your academic career. They don't just throw the material in your face. They take every effort to pull you in.
Being a student in the College of Arts and Sciences, I really have learned a lot about the diversity in theater from all around the world. Anything that I might want to do out in the industry, I get a chance to do here at Clayton State, whether that's writing a play, or directing a play, or working behind the scenes and hanging lights, or building a set. Anything I would want to do out there, I get a chance to sample here at Clayton State's theater.
I've been taught to consider all possibilities and all answers.
Not only how do I do theater, and how do I act? But also, how does that affect other people? And how does everyone else around the world do it?
You really have to think about what the composer was intending. And in order to do that, you have to think critically. And you have to really analyze what's on the page.
They know that our students need all the experience that they can gain.
They are always concerned with our success and helping us in our careers to come.
