Campus safety is of utmost importance here at Clayton State University. You'll see our public safety officers very visible on campus. And they frequently give workshops on things like sexual assault prevention and different types of safety tips. We just recently launched our mobile app. Enhanced features like a panic button, a direct link to 911, and alerts are given out very, very quickly on campus.
Clayton State students have an opportunity to intern in many organizations such as CNN, Norfolk Southern, CDC, and many others in the Atlanta area and beyond. We assist students in preparing for internship and careers by assisting them in their student development, self-awareness, skills, and abilities. We connect students with opportunities by applying for jobs directly in our online job posting system. They also attend networking events and job fairs. And they also get an opportunity to come to our office and meet with employers one on one. Employers are very impressed with Clayton State graduates. They tend to say that Clayton State graduates have leadership skills and work well in teams.
It's a little-known fact, a well-respected James Magazine ranked Clayton State as the number one best value in Georgia as well as a top 10 school in the state as well. And this past year, the US News and World Report ranked Clayton State as the top regional public university in the state.
