Hi. My name is Gantt Thomas. The living and learning communities that we have available in Laker Hall are pretty much just to develop a personal sense of pride within your community, and for yourself. One of them includes Laker Pride Amplify, which helps with school spirit. And another one is the Laker Leadership Challenge Community, which helps develop future leaders in our residence halls.

The suites for freshmen residents include four bedrooms. You'll share a bathroom with one other resident, as well as a common area that includes a microwave and a full-sized refrigerator and sink. And for Clayton Station residents, there are four bedrooms, which include your own individual bathroom, as well as a full-sized kitchen and living area, and a place for you to do your laundry inside your room.

There are many benefits for living on campus. You have access to your classes faster. Getting to the SAC, getting to Laker Hall, getting to the UC, it's definitely walking distance. As far as Laker Hall, it is mandatory for freshmen to have a meal plan. But you can go to Sub Connection. You can go to Pizza Hut. You can go to Sandella's and Jazzmans, a very popular spot on campus. And you get seven swipes a week into the dining hall.
